Saturday night treat

Tonight’s dinner was a request from my other half texting me… can we please have steak and potato gratin! Answer was of course, yes.

But rather than getting a couple of steaks I got a 1 rib of beef, 1.2 kilos, which was seared and then oven cooked to 50 degrees.

This was served with a potato and beetroot gratin with a fair amount of garlic, a truffle Bearnaise sauce and some steamed greens!
