Another fridge/freezer clear out, BBQ burger, I had both mince and home made brioche buns in the freezer, and today’s is a spicy and cheesy one.
Standard beef mince mixed with creme fraiche, lazy chillies, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper.
Once mixed, I formed to a larger than usual patty, place some mature cheddar in the middle and then fold around so the cheese is the centre piece.
The onions have been slowly fried until soft, then simmered in lager and once sticky, add runny honey and some mustard.
On to the BBQ and assemble with your favourites.
